With daily downpour just before we call it a day at work, there is no better place to have your dinner than Nagomi Shabu-Shabu while waiting for the traffic to clear.

Beef Shabu-Shabu Set

Beef Shabu-Shabu Set

Nagomi offers traditional, authentic Japanese hotpot in a fine-dining ambience. The prices may be on the high side for an everyday, ordinary meal, the portion for its Shabu-Shabu Sets is big. The sets come with:-

1) a plate of sliced razor thin meat – beef, chicken (yes, razor thin chicken slices) or duck – or chunky sashimi – salmon or tuna;
2) a plate of vegetables;
3) a pot of broth – Nagomi, chicken or spicy;
4) a bowl of rice; and
3) 3 types of sauces – goma, chili & ponzu

The hot steam from the hotpot creats the perfect warm & cozy feeling amidst the cold & wet weather outside the restaurant. With the traffic jam, there is no hurry to finish the dinner – one can swish-swish slowly.

Nagomi also offers a wide selection of sushi, sashimi, hand-rolls, snacks, alcoholic drinks and desserts. We particularly like the salmon sashimi for its freshness, apparently fresh deliveries arrive on Tuesday & Friday.

2. Hartamas Shopping Centre, Sri Hartamas; and
3. Menara Hap Seng, KL (near Shangri-la Hotel)
